totally agree. + if you shoot in 3k then your footage will look incredible at film festivals where they project onto a huge screen. I bet though that within the next 5 years there's gonna be a 3d biking vid. It would be epic

exactly. if your gonna sell your stuff, then the internet's good for teasers and publicity, but not for watching pure HD/3k in all its goodness. IF i got a scarlet, everything would have to be on blu-ray, otherwise it would just be a travesty.

thats true. But then again, I'm planning on putting next year's video up for sale, and the scarlet has a lot of versatility (variable framerates, etc) Plus its just plain badass Razz

im not sure how high quality the tripod is unfortunately, but it's probably better than what I have now (my better one broke filming last year *crash*) cant wait for RED to annouce what's going down with the scarlet though. maybe if (i mean when) i win the lottery ill pick up one of those babies!

cant afford the pany really, even if it's insanely cheap. (doesnt come with the p2 cards, so that adds on another $400 or so, making the total about $2000). I can get the hdr though for about $800 decked out with a new tripod, lens attachments, etc. +the hdr has the 240fps mode, with might be interesting. sorry the shots were a little bumpy in the teaser, even using a tripod it's hard to stabilize a little point-and-shoot.

no we don't have a website yet. I'll see if I can get that together over this winter. and i filmed the vid in the 4:3 aspect ration because I got more pixels that way, and the camera im using now is still SD...i figured I needed all the pixels I could juice out of it. going HD though this winter. probably a Sony HDR-500v
